Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated Mid level Python / JavaScript Developer - Web Scraping with a basic foundation in React and interest in web development techniques. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with the ability to assist in creating and maintaining web applications efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web scraping scripts using Python and Scrapy.
• Utilize XPath to accurately locate and extract data from web pages.
• Clean and process extracted data to ensure accuracy and usability.
• Collaborate with the development team to integrate scraped data into our systems.
• Monitor and update scraping scripts to adapt to website changes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to web scraping.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in web scraping using Python.
• Proficiency in Scrapy framework.
• Strong understanding of XPath for data extraction.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with data cleaning and processing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other web scraping tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of APIs and data integration.
